Everyone knows Paul Revere famously yelled “The British are coming!” on a midnight ride in mid April. But not too many people know about his cousin Fall Revere’s ride a few months later. Some say you can still hear him if you listen closely on an early September night … “The pumpkin spice is coming! The pumpkin spice is coming!” Heed his warning and get ready for some fall fun with these great activities around the state.

Visit a Fall Festival in
Utah Valley
|
Tourism is always in full swing in beautiful Utah Valley, but when fall hits, it’s time for agrotourism. And like Dwight Schrute said, agrotourism is a lot more than just bed and breakfasts. In Utah Valley, that means fall festival season!
With events throughout the valley, there are plenty of opportunities to get in on the fun. From pumpkin and apple picking to hay rides, corn mazes, petting zoos and even pig races, it’s a barn good time. |

Explore Land Art in Box Elder County
|
There’s no telling if those elk couples are going to work out, but there’s a human couple that certainly left their mark on Utah. We’re talking about land art pioneers Nancy Holt and Robert Smithson, who created the Sun Tunnels and Spiral Jetty, respectively.
If you’ve never been, fall is a great time to visit Box Elder County and marvel at these unique works of art. With leaves changing and harvest season in full swing, you’ll already be doing some reflecting; these timeless art installations will help bring out even more introspective thoughts. And if your most introspective thoughts are just about a warm apple cider, that’s fine too. |
