This month will see a couple of opportunities to stay active on the beach, including the Barrier Island Ultra and the annual Turkey Trot races. Come on down to participate or just to cheer on the racers! The time is also ripe to start planning your holiday vacations to Port Aransas. Come out and enjoy Gobble on the Grand and Turkey Trot this Thanksgiving holiday! Gobble on the Grand is a family-friendly mixer on November 21 that welcomes Turkey Trot racers to the packet pick-up pre-party and hosts many more fun activities like a vendor village, bounce houses, and turkey bowling!
Then, experience the Turkey & Tot Trot the following day on November 22.

If you love all things “ocean,” this is the race for you! Come to Port Aransas for this destination race. The course is run entirely on sand along the Gulf of Mexico. You choose your challenge—hard-packed sand near the water or softer sand near the road. Enjoy the sun and the sound of waves as you persevere through the wind.

Santa Claus is coming to town on December 2! Festivities will include a golf cart parade, craft stations, bounce houses, holiday hayrides, costumed characters, an ugly sweater contest, face painting, and visits with Santa.
