Steamboat is bracing for the kickoff of “peak” winter season with most nationwide direct flights beginning their schedules into Hayden this weekend. The flight schedule is very important to the success and continued appeal of the Steamboat Resort, the Yampa Valley economy, and rental property owners. Steamboat welcomes flights from 16 major cities – the only Ski and Resort area with more near-by flights is Big Sky with 17 direct flights. Earlier this year, a final report of an expansion plan was released to plan for increased capacity over the course of the next 20 years. A positive for the continued growth of Steamboat investments!
