Things on the island have been HOT, HOT, HOT lately! Independence Day fireworks lit up the night sky a few days ago, and snapper fishing is on fire! Snapper season runs through August, so don’t forget to book your fishing trip for this month’s vacation. Aside from leisure fishing, fishing tournament season is in full swing and continues on next week with the high-stakes Billfish Pachanga!
Looking for a voluntourism opportunity? Our friend Flynn, the sea turtle who’s helping spread the message to take care of the island, now has a bi-weekly volunteer opportunity called Flynn’s Beach Squad! Every Monday and Thursday from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., the squad meets at Horace Caldwell Pier and cleans up Port A. Sign up for a day while you’re on the island by using this form.
